LEI code

2014 February 12th came into power European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) requirement to report futures trading to data centers. This requirement is applicable to DNB bank and every client-corporation, who has made at least one transaction in derivatives.

In order to comply with EMIR and report to data centers, all corporations must purchase Legal Entity Identifier (further - LEI).

According to that, Luminor Bank AB will require to purchase LEI code before enetring into any contract for trading derivatives.

LEI code may be purchased at any of Global Legal Entity Identifier System (further - GLEIS) authorized Local Operating Units (further - LOU). For example: according to information provided to DNB bank on 2014 March LEI Code price is 100 GBP without VAT at London Stock Exchange and annual maintanence cost is about 55 GBP without VAT.

List of authorized LOU (Endorsed Pre-LOUs of the Interim Global Legal Entity Identifier System (GLEIS)) can be found here: http://www.leiroc.org/.
